Your Voice. Your Choice.

The Young Leaders Summit (August 6-8th, 2009) was a tremendous success. Youth from the winning country of Ghana traveled far and wide to attend the summit, with some traveling as much as 16 hours by bus to show their committment to have their VOICE and their CHOICE heard.

The first day of the summit the youth were led in a series of workshops pertaining to self-empowerment,  partner work and team building exercises. All pieces of the workshop were created and facilitated by World Trust Founder and Executive Director, Tess Cacciatore.

During the summit each participant was assigned to a group that aligned with the 8 Millennium Development Goals that come from the United Nations that are to be accomplished by the year 2015.
